Our Encounter

My Lady,

I saw you as I entered the crowded ballroom. A surprise I did not expect. I asked myself how I could have picked you out from the rest of the hundreds there. It was like a beam of light directed at me. Walking around the ballroom, talking to friends and relatives, I slowly worked my way toward you. Sneaking a look to make sure you were still there and admiring your beauty too, I could not stop thinking of how to meet you. It seemed forever, but was only half an hour; I finally got to your chair. Just as I was going to introduce myself, the band began playing a waltz. Good timing I thought to myself as I walked to your chair. Bowing politely, I introduced myself and asked you for a dance. You extended your hand and said glad to meet you. I will allow you this dance. Taking your hand I gave it a soft kiss then escorted you to the dance floor.

At first we danced formally, so stiff we looked like marching tin solders. But it was not long before the flow of the waltz caused us to flow too. We were dancers and together we danced, admirers watched all over the ballroom. It seemed we were the only ones on the floor. When the music stopped, we walked to your chair, conversation was relaxed and friendly. As the evening continued, we became more relaxed, enjoying the company of each other. Though we talked and danced with others, it seemed we were drawn back to each other. Nothing could interest us more than ourselves.

As the last note played and the last dance ended, I decided to take a bold chance. Gathering my courage as I escorted you to the door, I asked to escort you home in my carriage. Your quick acceptance surprised me, but I was too excited to notice. We drove along the cobblestone street, horse hooves clip clopping in the quiet night. As we neared your house, you turned to me and with a flutter of eyelashes asked me to drive by my house. With a pounding in my chest and a quiver in my voice, I ordered the driver to turn left. The carriage stopped in front of a large Victorian house sitting by a calm lake. The full moon rippled across the water as a fish jumped up at a bug. With more courage than I knew I had, I quietly asked you in. In the parlor with drinks in hand, I admired the beautiful woman. Who is she? I asked myself. Why have I not seen her before? Conversation came easily between us. It was like a meeting of old friends. Long into the night we talked and laughed, neither felt the passage of time. Suddenly you jumped as the clock struck one, realizing it was getting late. I must go, you said as you stood to leave, but I have one more request. Anything you ask my lady, I said. My mind was running away with anticipation. Show me your room you said. I would like to see how a man lives.

A massive oak door opened into the master bedroom, so large my carriage would fit in it. Mahogany furniture and oriental rugs were everywhere showing my taste and care. The four poster bed with lace canopy perfected my masculine room. Through the window was a view of the lake, moon still shimmering across the water.  You walked to the window and with a long stare seemed to be deep in thought. I walked up behind you, putting my arms around your waist and whispered, do you like the view, into her ear. The smell of your perfume sent my senses rushing, heart soaring making my knees weak. The feel of my breath on your neck sent you into a rush yourself. Don't let go you prayed to yourself as I held you, not wanting to myself. You turned to face this handsome man, staring directly into my eyes. I pulled you to my chest with both strong arms, placing my lips on yours. The room lit with our electricity. The room seemed to glow with our fire. The smell of passion rent the air. French kisses shared made our blood boil, our needs in the open. My arms still around you as I nibbled your ear, kissing your soft neck. Your sighs told me you liked my actions. There was no stopping then. With hands on your breasts, I unbuttoned your dress, letting my tongue run between them as I went. Your breasts exposed and nipples erect, you took my head and pulled it to one. I kissed your breasts and licked your nipples, bring soft moans from your throat. You removed my shirt and found my nipples. You gave them the same erotic care. In a rush we shed our remaining clothes, no time for embarrassment or shame. I picked you up and carried you to my bed, my manhood pointing out the direction.

The night was filled with the sounds of our lust. Our lovemaking continued for hours. Then all spent, we rested together. Lovers did not wish to part. Dawn slowly erased the night, bring a new day to see. In the half-light of the brand new day, my thoughts were only of you. You were different from all the others. I must ask you to stay. Love at first sight was not just a joke, a folly of women and kids. Now I knew I must have you. Thank God I met you I thought. You will stay if only I ask? I will not let you go. The touching of our bodies made us both whole. Who could break this bond?

The moment came when you had to leave. You rose from my bed still undressed. Your beauty filled the room. I had never seen perfection before. Together we dressed sharing touches and kisses. We seemed like soul mates to me. How would you react to my question? My love for you was full-grown. I waited for the right moment to ask. Your carriage is ready, my lady, I said, before you go I must ask one thing more. You turned to face me and your eyes seemed to know the question I was going to ask. Before I could ask, marry me my lady, you placed a finger to my lips. With a tear on your cheek and an unsteady voice you said, please don't ask. I know what you seek my lord, but I must get home before my husband wakes.

Police were called to the house of a prominent businessman today. The butler heard a gun shot and rushed to the bedroom of the master of the house. The door was locked so the butler called authorities who broke into the room. It was a gruesome sight. The master had taken a double barrel shotgun, placed it in his mouth, and pulled both triggers with his toes. There was no explanation except a letter describing a recent encounter at a charity ball.
